Your key to the real Germany is the German language! Get started in one of the classes offered by local volunteers who are dedicated to guide you into this new language step by step.
If you are interested in trying out a class, you can put your name down in one of the lists on the notice board in the air dome, or simply ask the social workers for help regarding German classes. There are classes at different levels, and Dorothy Dittman, a trained teacher from the Helferkreis can help you to find the appropriate one. And do not worry if you have never learned how to read and write — our teachers look forward to teaching you this important skill.
